Installation

Install Zotero

Download and install Zotero if you haven't already (version 7+)

Create a Beaver account

Sign up at beaverapp.ai/join to create your account.

Download Beaver

Download the Beaver plugin from your account page or from GitHub.

Install Beaver in Zotero

In Zotero, go to Tools → Plugins, click the gear icon, and select Install Plugin from File. Choose the downloaded .xpi file.

Open Beaver

Click the magic wand icon in the top right corner of Zotero, or press ⌘+J (Mac) or Ctrl+J (Windows/Linux).

Initial Setup

When you start using Beaver, Beaver will index your library for search. This usually takes less than a minute to complete but may take longer if you have a large library. After indexing is complete, you can start using Beaver to chat with your library.
